Yasaman is a Ph.D. student in Architectural Engineering. She joined the UNL in January 2021. Her areas of research and professional interest are:

• Infrastructure Resilience
• Operations Research and Simulation 
• Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Digital Twin
• X Reality (VR, AR, & MR)

Before joining the UNL, Yasaman gained work experience as a structural engineer in computing and structural design, and also held the positions of licensed supervisor engineer and executing engineer (Professional Engineer license) on building engineering and construction sites. She also gained academic experience as a part-time university Lecturer in the Civil Engineering Department. She has an MSc and a BSc in Civil Engineering.
